After a dramatic finish in the 2. game, Peter Gade, Denmark, won his 8th. Masters Title in Mens Singles, beating compatriot Kenneth Jonassen, 21-18, 23-21.
Kenneth Jonassen had Peter Gade down by 20-16 at the end of the 2. game, but failed several game points.

Jens Eriksen and Martin Lundgaard, Denmark, won the masters title for 2007, by beating Abdul Latif Mohd Z. and Mohd Tazari Mohd F., Malaysia 21-11, 21-17. They are the first danish Mens Double masters since 1998 – when Jens Eriksen won with Jesper Larsen.
Mette Schjoldager (left), the danish Mixed Double and Womens Double player who retired this last summer, was presented with a special award by Danmarks Badminton Federation.
The younger pair among the danish Mens Doubles finished best in the last match of the preliminary rounds. Mathias Boe (left) and Carsten Mogensen beat the other Danish pair in Group 2, Jonas Rasmussen and Lars Paaske. As both pairs has lost the other matches, neither had the chance of getting to tomorrows finals.
