YGO: 1/4-finals

Juliane Schenk, Germany.Julian Schenk, Germany, (left) started out strong, and did take one game away from Xie Xingfang, China, in one of the long Womens Singles matches of today. Germanys bottom seed, Xu Huaiwen was the only representation of the host country, when the 1/4-finals was played today.

Joachim Persson was the only dane left, and he lost Chen Yu, China – but only after a 3 gamer: 14-21, 21-18, 17-21.

But the big match of today was Petya Nedelcheva, Bulgaria, beating Hwan Hye Houn, Korea, 9-21, 21-16, 21-18. The match took 48 minutes.
