Friday, December 28th, 2007
The younger pair among the danish Mens Doubles finished best in the last match of the preliminary rounds. Mathias Boe (left) and Carsten Mogensen beat the other Danish pair in Group 2, Jonas Rasmussen and Lars Paaske. As both pairs has lost the other matches, neither had the chance of getting to tomorrows finals.

Last Years Copenhagen Masters was very disappointing for the top Mens Double in Denmark, Jens Eriksen and Martin Lundgaard. But today they reached the finals tomorrow, by beating Michal Logosz and Robert Mateusiak, Poland (left) 21-15, 21-19.
A very motivated Kenneth Jonassen, Denmark, beat Hashim Muhd Roslin, Malaysia, 21-12, 21-12, thus securing himself a place in the finals tomorrow against Peter Gade.
At an official ceremoni, Danish Minister for Cultural Affairs, Brian Mikkelsen, presented the award Badminton Player of the Year to Tine Rasmussen (left). The player is selected through a complicated process, involving every fan (through the internet), fellow players, coaches, sports journalists and federation management.
